Crittall-style shower screens
A Crittall-style shower screen is a fixed or hinged glass panel with a slim black frame and glazing bars, built for wet areas. It gives a walk-in shower the same grid look as the screens elsewhere in the house.

Why people choose shower screens
A shower screen is the smallest way into the look and one of the most popular. Frames are made for bathrooms, with sealed glass, stainless fixings and a finish that copes with steam and cleaning products. They work as a single fixed panel for a walk-in shower or as a full enclosure with a door.
Where it works
- Walk-in showers with a fixed panel
- Full enclosures with a hinged door
- Glazed partitions between a bedroom and an en-suite
- Over-bath screens in family bathrooms
How much does it cost?
As a guide, shower screens cost £1,500 to £1,950 for a typical size, fitted and including VAT. Steel-look aluminium sits at the lower end and solid steel at the upper end. Size, bar pattern, glass and doors make the difference. Use the design and price tool for your own size, or read the full cost guide.

Questions about shower screens
Will a black frame mark or rust in a shower?
Frames for showers are aluminium or treated steel with a marine-grade powder coat and stainless fixings. Wipe them down like any glass screen and they keep their finish.
Can you fit to a wet room floor?
Yes. We fix to the floor and wall after tiling, with seals set to the fall of the floor.
Is a shower screen made to measure?
Yes. Every screen is sized to your tray or wet area after the tiling is done, so the gaps are tight and even.
